Ambien Side Effects - Try The Natural Equivalent of Ambien 'WITHOUT' the Nasty Side-Effects

Ambien is in fact one of a number of trade names for a prescription sleeping pill called Zolpidem. Other trade names include Adormix, Edluar, Damixan, Hypnogen, Ivedal, Nytamel, Stilnoct, Stilnox, Sucedal, Zoldem, Zolnod and Zolpihexal.

In fact the United States Air Force have been providing their pilots with Ambien, so they can get a good nights sleep after a mission.

The one thing about prescription drugs is that you are unlikely to get your hands on them that easily, and as they are very strong it's likely you will suffer from one or a number of side effects. And Ambien side effects are just as potent, as side affects are, from a lot of other sleeping pills.

Note however that you don't have to suffer such side effects if you use the much safer herbal equivalent of Ambien. More on that at the end of this article.

Ambien (Zolpidem Side Effects)

  • Anterograde amnesia
  • Hallucinations , through all physical senses, of varying intensity
  • Delusions
  • Altered thought patterns
  • Ataxia or poor motor coordination , difficulty maintaining balance
  • Euphoria and/or dysphoria
  • Increased appetite
  • Increased libido
  • Amnesia
  • Impaired judgment and reasoning
  • Uninhibited extroversion in social or interpersonal settings
  • Increased impulsivity
  • When stopped, rebound insomnia may occur
  • Headaches, in some people

There are also conflicting reports about whether Ambien is in fact 'addictive' or not. Whether it is or not why take the chance? Try a herbal equivalent from SleepWell.

Apart from the list above there are additional Ambien side effects to consider. For example sleepwalking, and in the worst cases the sufferer has also gone on to driving their car while in a sleep state. I'm sure you'll agree that the results of such a side effect could be life threatening. If this has already happened to you then it's time you saw your doctor for advice on how to eliminate your dependance on these pills.

Of course the obvious way to avoid all these side effects is to NOT take the pills in the first place. Given there are so many 'herbal' equivalents for Ambien it makes a lot of sense to at least try them out rather than have you or your loved ones worrying about some of the potential 'and dangerous' Ambien side effects.
